What is aged care?
Aged care is the support provided to older people in their own home or in an aged care (nursing) home.
It can include help with everyday living, health care, accommodation and equipment such as walking frames or ramps.
Our hugely popular day centres aim to improve the quality of life for older people by helping them to be independent and be with other people.
Senior Day Care programme
Our Senior Day Care programme offers your loved ones engaging and fun activities to add some zest to their lives.
Your loved one can look forward to:
- Art and craft, games, karaoke
- Daily exercises such as stretching, moving around, and strengthening activities to maintain joint flexibility
- Festive celebrations
- Recreational activities such as inter-generational activities
We also fulfil your loved ones’ basic care needs such as support with activities of daily living and managing their nutrition and wounds. We also remind them to take their medications and help to administer them where necessary.
Our elderly day care services provide you, as a caregiver, a chance to take a break and recharge, so that you can continue caring for your loved one in the best way possible for the years ahead.
Respite Care Programme
We offer Individuals that require a temporary living arrangement at a care home. Respite is also referred to as a short care home stay and may range from a few days to a couple weeks.
